Exclusively curated from Marimekko’s storied archives, there are fourteen 5 ft x 10 ft show-stopping creations, ready to create an instant focal point in any room. Whether positioned between panels of wallpaper, placed atop coordinating paint colours or simply hung alone on a white background, spaces instantly become gallery walls for the fraction of the cost of a hand-drawn mural or large-scale contemporary painting.
The collection features some familiar Marimekko themes, from oversized flowers to graphic hand-drawn street scenes, from relaxing trees and landscapes to graphic circles and abstract colour waves. Cleverly packaged in easy to carry boxes, Marimekko Murals are sold in two-piece panels that join together to create a full pattern. They are digitally printed on a luxe non-woven backing and installed using clear wallpaper adhesive, as you would traditional wallpaper. What’s more, any Do-It-Yourselfer can position it, because there are just two panels to match up, with no repeat patterns to worry about.
