Young Japanese designer Sawako Ura is a new acquaintance in the spring 2012 collection. Her exquisite scratching technique brings a new element of artistic composure to Marimekko's otherwise strong graphic line. This stunning drapery fabric Tunturipollo ("snowy owl") is inspired by Finnish nature and its delicate colour palette.
